This Dual Drive extruder is a drop in replacement for most direct drive and bowden 3D Printers. The included bowden adapter allows you to convert this for bowden based printers like the LayerFused C201. This can be used with other brands like the Creality Ender 3 or CR-10 as well. The direct drive configuration allows you to install a V6 style hot end directly into the extruder. This makes it perfect for most direct drive systems like the X301.
The dual drive extruder uses 2 toothed gears to grip the filament. The gear ratio of the extruder allows more force to be applied through the nozzle. This reduces skipped steps and filament grinding on traditional extruder mechanisms. It is a must have for printing flexible filaments like TPU.
Body is constructed of injection molding plastic and the assembly supports 1.75mm filament.
